DARTS RATING QUICK REFERENCE
Darts Rating Quick Reference (Comparison Table)
A rating (Rt) is a skill indicator; a flight is a class such as A or B. Choose two systems to compare approximate equivalents for 01 and Cricket.
CHOOSE TWO SYSTEMS
Choose two systems to compare
The left rating is used as the reference and converted to the right.
The midpoint of the selected band is matched through common PPD and MPR values. DARTSLIVE 01 uses STATS up to the 80% point, so it may differ from PPD calculated from 100% (full-game) STATS.
HOW EACH SYSTEM COUNTS
How the calculation methods differ
Similar ratings can still differ when the counting cutoff and evaluation method are different.
PHOENIX
PPD / MPR01 uses PPD and Cricket uses MPR. The official chart maps ratings 1–30 to 12 classes.
- PPD is average points per dart
- MPR is average marks per three-dart round
- This tool uses the published official bands
DARTSLIVE
80% STATSA proprietary method centered on “80% STATS,” excluding much of the closing phase.
- 01: through the round when any player removes 80% of the start score
- Cricket: through the round when any player opens six numbers
- Recent 30 games receive more weight in the rating

Each band midpoint is matched by common PPD and MPR. 01 and Cricket are converted separately. DARTSLIVE PPD is PPR (80% STATS) divided by 3 for reference. It is not adjusted to 100% STATS.
OFFICIAL REFERENCES
Official information and comparison guidance
Three rating systems for comparison, plus an international tournament reference. If ratings or event divisions change, the linked official information takes precedence.
SOFT DARTS · 1–30
Rating comparisonPHOENIX
Official Rating & Class chart with PPD and MPR bands for ratings 1–30.
- Reading the metrics
- 01 PPD is average points per dart. Cricket MPR is average marks per three-dart round. Ratings 1–30 are grouped into 12 classes.
- How this comparison works
- The official ranges are shown, and each midpoint is matched to the other system. Game formats and counting rules can differ, so the result does not guarantee an equivalent rating or skill level.
SOFT DARTS · 1–18
Rating comparisonDARTSLIVE
Official 80% STATS explanation and the rating 1–18 / flight chart.
- What 80% STATS counts
- 01 uses the cutoff when any player removes 80% of the starting score; Cricket uses the point when any player opens six numbers. Overall (100%) STATS instead counts every throw through the end.
- PPR and PPD
- PPR means points per round. Here, PPD is PPR divided by 3 for reference, not an adjustment from 80% to 100% STATS. Example: 90 PPR → 30 PPD.
GLOBAL SOFT DARTS · 1–28
Rating comparisonVDarts
Official VDarts chart listing ratings 1–28 by PPD and MPR.
- Reading the metrics
- 01 uses points per dart (PPD), and Cricket uses marks per round (MPR). The chart maps ratings 1–28 to classes from N to SSS.
- What to check when comparing
- The same PPD or MPR can fall into a different rating or class than on PHOENIX. This tool matches the published bands as a guide. Check official instructions for the counting conditions of your games.
USA TOURNAMENT
Tournament reference onlyBullShooter World Tour
Official World Tour rules for levels, verification and MPR/PPD use.
- How event levels work
- Regional Tour generally uses Level 1 (highest) through Level 4, but the number of divisions varies by event. Organizers assign levels using verified performance and the field of participants.
- Why there is no rating conversion
- Placement primarily uses MPR; team events also use average MPR/PPD. This is not a universal fixed rating chart, so this tool provides tournament information without equating a rating to an event level.
